Hunting for Treasure

Hunting for Treasure

One of the activities that Columbus is best known for is antiquing. This is so much the case, in fact, that most people that I meet ask me about the shops in town here when I tell them I call Columbus home. And although the antiques business has changed much with the popularization of online shopping, it is still alive and well here.

Columbus Antique Mall and Museum is an especially unique antiquing experience. It is located in an old factory building that’s been converted to a “mall” with over 200 vendors selling antiques and vintage items. With over 77,000 square feet of antiques to browse, it isn’t difficult to have a safe, socially-distanced experience.

If you’re planning a trip to Columbus and this is one of your stops, be sure to give yourself plenty of time to browse! There are lots of reviewers online who say that you need more than two hours to “make it through” the mall. Some say that you can’t possibly do it in one trip!
